Yes it seems very expensive for such a small model and then I would need to make it. I really want to find somethiing bigger but also made as I don't have the skill to do it myself :(

I see that AJM Models made a 1/700 scale Coventry. Perhaps there is a model of one of the other Ceres class ships that you could convert.
